
MANUAL MACHINING
Manual machining involves conventional lathes and knee mills for turning and milling operations. Manual operations are used to produce smaller quantity orders or repairs within our job shop machine shop. We can do prototypes, one – offs or equipment repairs within our manual department. All of manual machines are equipped with Digital Readouts for increased accuracy.
Lathe turning capabilities of turning large shafts or rolls up to 28” in Diameter and 220” in Length. Threading can also be produced effectively on smaller orders. Lathes are equipped with 3 Jaw chucks for most round bar turning and we also have 4 Jaw chucks which allow for Square or Rectangular Bar material to be turned, threaded or bored.
Vertical Knee Mills capabilities involve milling features to be obtained within our shop as needed. Milling, drilling, tapping, boring can be done on our manual mills.
We offer surface grinding for precise sizing materials or parts as needed. Table Size 10” x 20”.
We have manual and automatic saws for preparing materials to lengths needed for all our machining needs.
